Note: You do NOT have to remover the impeller
from the snowblower to perform this job. It can be
done by removing the chute and the chute
adapter and reaching through the opening.

1. The first thing you can do to improve your snowblower performance is to spray the inside of
the chute and all the auger parts including the fan with non stick cooking spray or even with
WD40. This will provide a slick and slippery surface for the snow to glide on instead of sticking.

2. The second thing you can do is to make sure your idler pulley keeps the correct tension on
the auger belt. Properly adjusted skids and scraper bars will help also. Just watch the videos
below to learn how to do it.

3. If you're somewhat handy with tools you can easily build an impeller kit that will increase the
snow throwing distance by many feet. Just cut a piece of heavy duty rubber, maybe from a
truck mud flap or even two pieces of crazy carpet glued together approximately 2" x 3, 4, 5 or
6" long depending on the size of the impeller. Just watch the last video below to give you a
    general idea of the process.
